Dasha is famous for her breathtaking technique

Dasha was born in Minsk (Belarus) in a musical family. From age 7 she started to perform on stage. Her first steps in music were the recordings of her father’s music for films and radio programs. Surrounded by musicians she grows up loving classical music.

She performs as a soloist. Concert tours with the Belarusian Chamber and Symphony orchestra’s took her to most of European music festivals.

Dasha was awarded with the scholarship of the International Programme “New Names” (Moscow). She won a prize at the International Competition of Young Musicians (Russia). Graduated from the Music College by Nina Avramenko and Valery Grigoriev she has continued her studies at the Music Academy in Minsk by professor Boris Nichkov. Dasha took part in the master classes of Aurele Nicolet, Peter-Lucas Graf, Trevor Wye, Andras Adorian, Lorant Kovacs and Jacques Zoon.

Since 2000 Dasha resides in The Netherlands. She graduated from the Conservatory of Amsterdam (Bachelor and Master Degree) with professor Harrie Starreveld. 

She works as an editor for a publishing company Edition Beltiukoff.

She plays all world-premieres of flute compositions by the Belarusian composer Sergey Beltiukov. As a chamber musician Dasha works together with her sister, the violinist Ksenia Beltiukova, pianists Vital Stahievitch, Sergey Smirnov, Maria Nemtsova and the MirAnDa Trio. She took part a.o. in International Music Festivals in Minsk, International Music Festival in Bath, Grachten Festival in Amsterdam, New Paths Music Festival in New York.

For numerous recitals and chamber performaces Dasha offers a wide repertoire, ranging from the baroque to the contemporary, including modern-commissioned works and world-premieres.

“Muziek is magie. Het raakt mij diep. Het tilt mij boven de aarde.
Als ik naar muziek luister doe ik mijn ogen even dicht en vlieg in gedachten naar andere landen. Soms weet ik niet meer waar ik ben, als ik mijn ogen weer open doe. Zó diep raakt muziek mijn emoties en gevoelens.

Toen ik de piccolo fluit voor het eerst zag dacht ik: "Wat een juweel. Dat wil ik leren spelen". Nu 30 jaar later blijft dwarsfluit steeds een magisch instrument voor mij. Ik neem tijdens optredens het publiek mee op reis. Met de dwarsfluit kan ik mijn verhaal zonder woorden vertellen. Muziek is magie.”
